The maple in this mill is fanstastic, as it changes color and design as you move it in the light. The walnut is a great compliment to the maple, and makes for a very classy look. I made this one with a Crushgrind mechanism so it can handle either salt or pepper. It is just over 11 inches tall and is finished with a very durable food safe finish, so can be wiped off with a wet sponge or towel to clean.  I'd be happy to make a custom matching mill for you if you'd like to have a set for both salt and pepper.
